MARCH 2017 - PRESENT - SYSC will be fundraising and planning our first ever annual youth banquet that will take place in late May 2017!
MARCH 24th 2017 - Today our group visited different businesses around Surrey to raise funds to kick start our campaign once again!
MARCH 2017 - SYSC is relaunching! Presenting school workshops soon and our first ever banquet hall event in the near future!
NOVEMBER 2015- MARCH 2016 -SYSC will be fundraising in schools and in around the community near you!! All of the funds will be going into projects to benefit all of you! Stay tuned for more info.
NOVEMBER 1ST- Today is November 1st!!! This special day is when this website was launched exactly 3 months ago. Thank you for tuning in we really appreciate it. SYSC hopes that this website has benefitted youth in making the right decisions!
OCTOBER 31ST- Happy Halloween Everyone, stay safe in and around your community. Report any suspicious activity!
SEPTEMBER 19TH - Surrey's annual YouthFest will be taking place in Cloverdale Recreation Center where SYSC will be having a booth with information, ways to get involved, prizes and give-aways!
SEPTEMBER 2015 - 2016 - School workshops prepared by youth in SYSC will be presented to schools to engage, entertain and inform youth about different kinds of safety.

MAY 30th/31st 2015 - Harjit Brar Tournament at Newton Athletic Park: SYSC had a tent promoting our club with give-aways and fundraising for future projects. We raised $564.98 in the two days!

FEBRUARY-MARCH 2015 - Surrey Youth Safety Council was initiated in Surrey Leadership Action Conference 2015!

LURE FOR CUREPOKEMON GO EVENT HOSTED BY SYSC
WHO: SYSC, Starts With One, and Shergill Transport are hosting this event for walks of all ages and cultures.
WHAT: Lure For Cure is a one day event to catch Pokemon at a lured tri-pokestop. There will be food and other festivities where all proceeds will go to cancer research! WHERE: 16613 Bell Rd, Surrey BC. (Near Christ the Redeemer Church and 5 minutes from Cloverdale Athletic Park) WHEN: Saturday, August 27th, 1-PM HOW: Lure For Cure is created to attract players to the worldwide sensation, Pokemon Go and to play for a common cause; cancer research. By buying food or donating to the cause, this supports people in the community in need. The event is also on Facebook for more information click the Facebook event button. |
